The Challenge

Why Diagnostic Access Matters in Healthcare

Hormonal testing is critical for diagnosis and treatment, yet remains inaccessible to most patients outside major cities.

🏥

Healthcare Systems in Crisis

Rural hospitals lack diagnostic infrastructure. Point-of-care testing is absent in 60%+ of primary care settings in emerging markets, delaying critical diagnosis by weeks.

⏱️

Time-Critical Delays

Patients must travel long distances for centralized lab testing. PCOS, thyroid disorders, and hormone-dependent conditions worsen without rapid diagnosis and monitoring.

📈

Market Opportunity

₹85,000 Cr healthcare IoT market by 2027 in India. 500M+ farmers & rural users needing accessible diagnostics. Unfilled need across 4+ sectors.

The Broader Opportunity: A Platform Problem, Not Just a Healthcare Problem

The diagnostic access gap behind the Portable Hormone Analyser is one symptom of a wider pattern Yohafly is built to address: agriculture relies on manual monitoring, leading to crop loss, water waste, and low yields; food safety and cold-chain operations suffer from inadequate real-time sensing and AI decisioning; industrial automation is dominated by expensive foreign equipment unaffordable for MSMEs; and cloud-dependent IoT fails outright in low-connectivity environments.

Our Story

Yohafly Technologies: Engineering Precision into Accessibility

Founded in February 2026, Yohafly Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a deep-tech medical equipment manufacturer specializing in AI-integrated, hardware-enabled diagnostic systems. We combine embedded systems engineering, edge-AI inference, and clinical-grade precision to solve diagnostic access gaps in underserved healthcare markets.

Our Leadership: Founded by Dr. J. Yogapriya and Naveen Kumar M, with deep expertise in biomedical instrumentation, embedded systems, and clinical diagnostics. Supported by ANRF-SERB research grants.

Beyond the Portable Hormone Analyser, Yohafly is building a broader Deep Tech platform: modular embedded systems, smart sensors, autonomous robotic systems, and AI-powered software applied across agriculture, healthcare, education technology, food safety, and industrial automation — with the Analyser as our flagship, first-to-market product.

Our engineering philosophy is vertical integration: we build original hardware from the board up, embed machine-learning inference directly on the device, and pair it with cross-platform software so each product works as one coherent system. Native offline capability lets our solutions operate in rural, remote, and low-connectivity environments that cloud-only competitors cannot reliably serve.

Yohafly Technologies was incorporated specifically to commercialize the AI-driven PCOS biosensing kit developed under ANRF-funded research at Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology. The company holds dual incubation status at Kongunadu (KNCET) and the AMTZ Medivalley Robotics Healthcare Centre, Visakhapatnam.

Deep-Tech Foundations

Engineering Discipline: Hardware, AI, Edge Computing

The Portable Hormone Analyser is built on vertically integrated, proprietary-engineered systems across five layers. We design everything from ground up — original hardware PCBs, embedded AI firmware, connectivity, and clinical-grade software.

Hardware Layer

Custom PCB design, microcontroller logic (ARM Cortex), sensor modules, low-power embedded systems, clinical-grade safety-critical design.

Edge AI / Firmware

TinyML on-device inference, real-time signal processing, offline decision engines, FreeRTOS firmware, no cloud dependency.

Connectivity Layer

BLE 5.0 for mobile apps, Wi-Fi for clinic networks, MQTT for IoT, fallback 4G/5G, LoRa for rural low-bandwidth scenarios.

Software & Cloud

Flutter cross-platform apps, FastAPI/Node.js backends, AI dashboards, SaaS analytics portals, REST & WebSocket APIs.

AI / ML Layer

Computer vision, predictive analytics, NLP decision support, time-series anomaly detection, federated learning.

All five layers are proprietary-engineered and vertically integrated for IP ownership.

Why This Matters

  • IP First: Original research and design means proprietary advantage. Not white-labeling or copying competitors.
  • Offline Functionality: Works without internet. Critical for rural, remote, and disaster scenarios where cloud infrastructure fails.
  • Scalable Architecture: Same platform can power multiple diagnostic modalities (hormones, biomarkers, glucose, etc.).
  • Regulatory Grade: Built with safety-critical design patterns for eventual FDA, CE, and Indian medical device regulatory pathways.
